Power Usage Effectiveness, or PUE, measures how efficiently a mining facility uses electricity.

It compares the total power consumed by the entire site with the power used directly by the mining machines. The difference comes from cooling, ventilation, transformers, pumps, lighting and other supporting infrastructure.
