Hashlabs helps clients buy, host, repair, and understand Bitcoin miners. We have built and run mining projects across six countries since 2021.
Our story
From one mining site to a global operation.
Founded by Alen Makhmetov in 2021 in Kazakhstan, after he left his job as a commodities trader at Glencore in China to build his own mining site in his native country. In 2023, Jaran Mellerud from Norway joined to help take the company global.
In late 2023 we launched our first international project in Ethiopia, then expanded to Finland with heat reuse facilities, Norway, the United States, and Brazil. We are always evaluating mining opportunities all over the world.
We are among the most globally distributed companies in the Bitcoin mining industry — five continents and a team of many nationalities. We hold entities across multiple jurisdictions and can structure engagements to suit each client's situation.
