Hashlabs Guarantees
We stand behind the miners we sell and the hosting services we provide. Here are our guarantees and the terms that apply.
7-Day Dead-on-Arrival Guarantee
If your miner fails within its first 7 days of operation, we'll repair or replace it for free.
This guarantee applies to every new or pre-owned miner purchased from Hashlabs, with or without hosting.
Coverage begins when the miner is first put into operation and lasts seven consecutive calendar days.
The guarantee covers hardware failures that prevent normal operation. Hashlabs determines whether to repair or replace the affected miner. Any replacement will have equivalent or better specifications and comparable condition.
Failures caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper installation by third parties, or external physical damage are excluded.
This guarantee supplements any applicable manufacturer's warranty and does not reduce mandatory legal rights.
Lead-Time Guarantee
If we miss the guaranteed delivery or deployment lead time shown in your selected offer, we'll compensate you for the delay.
This guarantee applies to miners purchased directly from Hashlabs where we manage the entire fulfillment process. Customer-owned miners are not covered.
When does the lead time start?
The lead-time clock starts at the exact time both of the following conditions have been fulfilled:
- Hashlabs has received the customer's full cleared payment.
- Hashlabs has received all required signed agreements.
If these occur at different times, the later timestamp determines the start.
The guaranteed lead time is the lead time shown for the selected offer at the time of purchase, as recorded in the accepted order.
The deadline is calculated by adding the guaranteed lead time to the starting timestamp. Lead times expressed in days represent consecutive 24-hour periods.
When is the order fulfilled?
For miners purchased with Hashlabs hosting, fulfillment occurs when the miners are deployed and ready to operate at the agreed hosting facility.
For miners purchased for delivery, fulfillment occurs when the miners arrive at the agreed delivery destination. Dispatch alone does not constitute fulfillment.
How is compensation calculated?
Delays are measured in hours, from the guaranteed deadline until actual fulfillment. Partial days are compensated proportionally based on the actual hours of delay.
Miners purchased with hosting
For every 24 hours of qualifying delay, the customer earns one day of free hosting per affected miner. Shorter delays are credited proportionally.
Hosting credit = Delay hours × Rated miner power (kW) × Contracted hosting rate ($/kWh).
Credits apply against future hosting invoices only for the affected miners in that order, not miners from other orders. They are not redeemable for cash.
Miners purchased for delivery
For every 24 hours of qualifying delay, the customer receives compensation equal to 0.1% of the affected hardware purchase price, excluding shipping and applicable taxes.
Shorter delays are compensated proportionally.
Compensation is applied as a reduction of the original purchase invoice or refunded if the invoice has already been paid.
Maximum compensation
Compensation under either method is capped at 720 hours of delay, equivalent to 30 days of free hosting or 3% of the affected hardware purchase price, respectively.
Each affected miner qualifies for only one of the two compensation methods.
Exclusions
The Lead-Time Guarantee does not apply to customer-owned miners, even when Hashlabs arranges transportation or deployment.
It does not apply when customers control the shipping process or appoint their own freight forwarders.
Unusual or complex delivery arrangements may be excluded, provided this is expressly disclosed before the order is accepted.
Delays directly caused by customers failing to provide required payments, documents, or other necessary actions are excluded from compensable delay hours.
Ordinary supplier, carrier, and customs delays remain Hashlabs' responsibility when we have committed to end-to-end fulfillment.
First-Month Uptime Guarantee
If we fail to achieve the promised hosting uptime during your first operating calendar month, we'll cover your hosting costs for that period.
This guarantee applies to miners purchased from Hashlabs together with Hashlabs hosting.
Guarantee period
The guarantee begins when the miner is first deployed and ends at the end of that same calendar month, based on the hosting facility's local time.
For example, a miner deployed on October 15 is covered from its actual deployment time on October 15 through October 31.
The guarantee does not cover a rolling 30-day period.
How is uptime calculated?
The applicable uptime target is the target shown for the selected hosting facility at the time of purchase, as recorded in the accepted offer.
Uptime measures the facility's ability to provide the infrastructure required to operate miners that are otherwise functional and available to run.
Downtime caused by miner hardware failures, repairs, or miner-specific malfunctions is excluded from eligible operating time.
Uptime is calculated as:
Uptime = (Eligible operating hours − Facility downtime hours) ÷ Eligible operating hours × 100%.
For orders containing multiple miners, uptime is calculated using the combined eligible miner-hours of the miners in the order. Each miner's eligible period begins at its actual deployment time.
Compensation
If the measured uptime falls below the applicable target during the guarantee period, Hashlabs credits 100% of the hosting charges for the affected order during that period.
The credit covers the initial operating period only, from deployment until the end of the deployment calendar month.
Compensation is provided as a credit against future hosting invoices and is not redeemable for cash.
General Terms
Customers may request guarantee service or compensation by contacting Hashlabs support with their order details.
Hashlabs may verify payment receipts, signed agreements, delivery confirmations, deployment records, equipment status, and facility uptime logs when determining eligibility and compensation.
The guarantees apply only to eligible purchases and orders meeting the stated conditions.
The applicable guarantee terms and commercial commitments are those in effect when the order is accepted. Subsequent website changes do not alter existing commitments.
These guarantees supplement the applicable purchase and hosting agreements. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
